Hello everyone! It's j_EX here with our first weekly update! Now, lets take a look see at how memery is coming along!

Memery Update:

I have not worked on the script since last week

welp, that's it! goodbye!!!!.. is what I would be saying if there wasn't more to this. It would be a lie to say that I've worked on memery but at the same time, it wouldn't be. You see, I'm just about always working on memery in some capacity, whether it be brainstorming new ideas, making new characters, updating existing ones, or practice drawing them... ok well there's more than just that but you get the gist. No, I haven't touched the script in a while, but to say I've done nothing..? Now THAT'S a lie.

IN REALITY, I have been working on a sprite sheet for both Sawyer & Sossis because my spriting itch got to me. There should be a sneak peak of what I've been doing as I should've just posted one in the art section of my page. I PROMISE this time that I WILL work on the script for next week, but from now on the memery update section will go over EVERYTHING related to memery.

On another note, I just graduated from high school, so I had been a bit busy with post graduation celebrations from my school until... yesterday, in reality. So it's not like I've really gotten to work on anything much to begin with. Though now that most of my obligations are gone, I can dedicate more time to working on my passion projects. Soon enough, my work schedule should be planned out by my manager so I myself can organize my time better. So things should be going along smoothly from here on out. I feel pretty happy now that I'm being more active and open about this stuff. I hope this all can eventually lead me somewhere, I'd love to finally get out there.

Sup newgrounds- actually... sup world lol. It's been quite the cricket crowd since November huh? In reality I haven't properly posted about anything since that one doodle I made lol. Anyways I'm just going to reintroduce myself and what I do before getting into the nitty gritty about where I've been and what I've been doing for the past year.

I'm j_EX. hi.

I do a lot of things, such as: doodling, animating, 3d modeling, voice acting, yapping my ass off, and diddling my weeeenor (no). I'm also the creator of my upcoming series called Memery! A series about two roommates, Sawyer and Sossis, and their lives in the uninteresting but interesting town of Shrouder. oh yeah i also spend a lot of time playing viedo games. I'll occasionally post my drawings, everything Memery related, as well as my doodles (of which the 3rd won't show on the art portal) so follow me if you like what I've posted so far :)

Anyway so- WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING????? Well, quite a lot actually.

I WAS working on the second issue of Memery for quite some time after I finished the first issue, but then I decided I wanted to work on a 3D model for Sossis. So I halted progress to work on that, and it was going well! Then rigging happened. I procrastinated on that shit for a long time, and when I got to it I ended up deciding to work on a Sawyer model. Same exact thing happened. That's why I stopped posting just about everywhere, since I had just been procrastinating. So, realizing that I was doing what I was doing, I decided to cut the bullcrap and just quit working on the models entirely so I could continue working on the series. By the time I decided that, I ended up changing a LOT of things about the series- so I decided to scrap the 2nd issue in favor for making the series... ANIMATED!!!!!!! I realized that I felt like I couldn't do certain things with a comic that you could only do in animation, so I have switched over! I have planned everything I wanted to with the early part of my series and I'm already in the process of writing the first issue! (groceries is not an official issue anymore, and episodes are called issues)

So, remember how I said 2 days ago I was gonna post a better thing for Halloween? Well, I ended up getting busy with stuff soooooo yeah no (sadge). I'm just gonna get straight to the point and get an update out as to what I've been doing.

(If you're interested into the many things I've done over October then take a listen, if not skip to the next paragraph)

So, like- drawing takes a while lol. If I had all the free time in the world, then I would have this comic out by now, but I've been pretty pre-occupied. October had a lot going on, the end of my X-Country season, Halloween (I had an AWESOME costume btw that I might post about eventually), and College applications!!! Not to mention I was starting to slip up in my grades, thankfully I fixed that before it could get worse so I'm still in the 90s. Also, did you know that this comic is like- WAY LONGER THAN THE PREVIOUS?? not like it's gonna matter since so little people are gonna see it, but I guarantee it's gonna be really cool. (The previous was 3 scanned pages front and back except the last, currently I'm at my 5th page and I'm about halfway done so HOOOH).

Anyways, enough with the excuses- time for some honesty! I really have not worked on this comic at home. I only really work on it during my study hall time at school, in which I tend to get 2 panels done. But even then, I haven't been working on it at all recently. I can't promise you anything right now, but I can promise you I should have all the panels drawn before next year. Scanned onto my pc and edited? Probably not. I'll be posting other stuff until then though. Hopefully you'll like it!

yarg..... hi everyone. I just wanted to post this blog update because I want to post some art today but I uh- got really nuthin to post cause the rest I have is either old or I just can't post it cause reasons. That would leave me with my comic then, yes? WRO- yeah, it does. So I'm going to be posting it soon, and it'll count as my 4th art submission, officially putting me into the Art Portal! Hopefully Memery gets the attention I want it to, it'd be nice.

Though about the comic, I haven't really worked on the 2nd issue for the past 2 days since I haven't had the time to cause of sports and a funny game night on lethal company I had yesterday. I've gotten the first part of the 2nd comic done though and I'm happy to say if I keep this up the comic will be out mid to early october! Way faster than the several month timeline of me working on the first one, and then waiting to do the 2nd. I'm so good at being consistent :)

Anyways I should be posting the 1st comic in a few minutes, so go check it out! It would mean a lot! [also i have officially made the memery tag. yippee :))) ]

So... yeah. I haven't touched this account in 3 years. I am here to let you know that I am back!.. or well, more or less actually going to use this account to actually post my damn art. I'm going to be posting some of my newer art in a bit. Tomorrow I'm going to post the comic I posted on twitter of my upcoming series Memery! (I don't want to just dump all my art at once- I wanna spread it out... ok well maybe except for 4 pieces) Don't expect it until late tomorrow since I plan on being busy.
